There are currently three islands where we have established recording of rays. It is unknown how far spotted eagle rays travel so although the Turks and Caicos Islands are separated into different databases, a periodic survey is carried out of all images in order to see if there is any migration or cross over between areas.
Monitoring has also been established in Saba, Netherland Antilles as a result of participation in the annual Sea and Learn event and in collaboration with dive centres on the island.
Click on each region to see a slideshow of images of identified individuals.
